The story behind Skylie Lash, and why this chapter feels different.

There’s something really special about coming back to a place that once felt like the beginning of everything.

For me, that place has always been my lash bed.

Before Skylie Official was a brand. Before the community. Before the events, the blog, the ideas, the campaigns, the vision boards, and all the things I’m still building behind the scenes…

There was Skylie Lash.

And honestly?

It still feels like home.

WHERE IT ALL STARTED

Skylie Lash started as more than just a beauty business.

It was one of the first places where I really got to experience what it felt like to build something of my own.

I was learning how to be a business owner while also learning how to be me.

I learned how to create an experience.

How to make people feel comfortable.

How to turn a service into something people looked forward to.

How to show up even when I didn’t have everything figured out.

And most importantly, I learned that I actually loved building.

I didn’t just love doing lashes.

I loved the world that came with it.

The branding.

The creativity.

The relationships.

The content.

The little details.

The feeling of creating something and watching another woman enjoy it.

That realization eventually became the foundation for something much bigger.

ENTER: SKYLIE OFFICIAL

As Skylie grew, I realized I didn’t want to create a brand that only talked about lashes.

I wanted to create a world.

A place for the girl who is becoming.

The girl figuring out her brand.

The girl rebuilding her confidence.

The girl trying to romanticize her life while also getting serious about her future.

The girl who knows she has more in her.

That became Skylie Official.

Skylie Official isn’t replacing where I came from.

It’s giving it more room to grow.

Because lashes were never the entire story.

They were the beginning of it.

SO… YES, I’M STILL LASHING. 💗

And that’s why filming a simple “come lash with me” video feels a little different this time around.

I’m not stepping back into my lash era because I’ve run out of things to build.

I’m stepping into it knowing exactly why it matters.

Skylie Lash is still a real business.

There are still women who want to sit in my chair.

There are still beautiful sets to create.

There are still conversations to have while someone is laying under the lash light.

And there is still so much I love about this part of the Skylie story.

But now, when you see me doing lashes, I want you to see more than a lash appointment.

I want you to see a founder building her ecosystem in real time.

THE SKYLIE GIRL GETS TO SEE THE WHOLE JOURNEY

One of my favorite things about building Skylie publicly is that you get to see the parts that usually happen behind the scenes.

The pretty parts.

The messy parts.

The “wait…what am I doing?” parts.

The shoots.

The resets.

The business decisions.

The ideas that work.

The ideas that absolutely do not work. 😂

The moments where I have to remind myself that building something takes time.

I don’t want Skylie to feel like a finished brand that magically appeared one day.

I want you to watch it become one.

And if you’ve been here since Skylie Lash, you’ve already been watching that happen.

That’s really what this chapter is about.

I’m still the girl who loves lashes.

I’m still the girl who gets excited about a cute package.

I’m still the girl who wants everything to look pretty.

I’m still going to have random ideas at 2 AM and convince myself they’re genius. 😂

But I’m also becoming a woman who understands the power of building something bigger than one service.

Skylie Lash is part of that.

Skylie Official is part of that.

The It Girl Standard is part of that.

And you are part of that.

Because I don’t want Skylie to just be something you follow.

I want it to be something you feel connected to.

Something that reminds you that you can start where you are and still build toward something much bigger.
